Tweetsie Railroad will celebrate another season of the award-winning Ghost Train Halloween Festival Friday and Saturday nights from September 30 through October 29. This year, the Ghost Train will howl through the Blue Ridge Mountains and tell the spine chilling tale of 'The Revenge of Professor Peppercorn'. Guests of all ages can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the park and the Palace Spooktacular show while the bigger kids can venture through the Haunted House, Freaky Forest, Black Hole, 3-D Maze and more. Take a journey back in time to the golden era of steam locomotives during Tweetsie's Railfan Weekend September 10 and 11. Be sure to check out the Cherokee Dance performances and craft demonstrations before touring the famous Train Shop where locomotives from across the nation are repaired and restored. Then hop aboard the doubleheader on Saturday as historic locomotives #12 and #190 work together for a Wild West adventure. Special Railfan Weekend Passes valid for both days are $48 for Adults and $33 for kids 3-12.
